How to Purchase a Firearm Online

On Target Gun Shop sells firearms only in accordance with Federal, State, and Local firearm laws. We can ship a firearm to any Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL Dealer) within the United States to handle the ownership transfer. This can be your local gun shop, pawn shop or any other location that holds a current FFL. Most dealers charge a nominal fee for this service. If you need us to ship your firearm, you must complete the following steps before we can process your order:

1 – Federal law prevents us from shipping firearms directly to individuals without an FFL, but we can ship them to an FFL dealer (gun shop, pawn shop, etc.) You will need to locate a local FFL dealer to handle the transfer of the firearm. If you need help finding a dealer in your area, you can give us a call at (570) 874-2145.

2 – Print and fill out our FFL Transfer Form found here

3 – Have your dealer mail a signed copy of their FFL and the FFL Transfer Form to:

When ALL of the above steps have been completed and we have received the signed copy of the FFL, we will process your order and send the firearm to your FFL for transfer.

Once your dealer receives the firearm, you will fill out all the necessary paperwork with them and pick up your gun.

You DO NOT need an FFL to buy ammunition online. We can ship ammunition to your door via UPS. Ammunition CANNOT be shipped in the air though. When you are checking out, make sure you select UPS Ground if you are buying ammunition.

 

How to purchase a Class III item

If you live in the state of Pennsylvania and would like to come to our store for your purchase you need to:

  1. Pay for the item in full
  2. We will then mail the paperwork to you or you can pick it up at our store (Finger print cards, certificate of compliance and application)
  3. Application needs to be completed and signed by chief law enforcement officer and customer needs to be fingerprinted and photographed.
  4. Complete all necessary paperwork and return to the store with a $200.00 nonrefundable check made out to the BATF (This is for the one time tax stampneeded for a class III item).
  5. Once we recieve the tax stamp for your item you will be notified and need to come to our store to pick up the item.

If you do not reside in the state of Pennsylvania or do not want to travel to our store, you need to:

  1. Locate a Class III dealer in your area and have them contact our store.
  2. When necessary paperwork is completed the Class III item will be shipped to your dealer
  3. You will fill out all necessary paperwork through your dealer.
